Pattern Description:

I wanted to make a fun set of mitts with button detailing and a fun puffy hand area that blurs the line between gloves and mittens.


US 4 - 8 st + 7 rows in ribbed pattern
US 8 - 5 st + 6 rows in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size adult
  • 9 in long / bottom cuff 3 in wide


  • 160 yds (146 m) worsted weight yarn
  • US4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles (set of 4)
  • US8 (5 mm) double pointed needles (set of 4)
  • set of 10 buttons 7/16 in - 1/2 in in diameter (11.12 mm - 12.7 mm)
  • stitch counter (optional)

Suggested yarn:

160 yards of Worsted weight
