I wanted to make a fun set of mitts with button detailing and a fun puffy hand area that blurs the line between gloves and mittens.
Gauge:
US 4 - 8 st + 7 rows in ribbed pattern
US 8 - 5 st + 6 rows in stockinette stitch
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- one size adult
- 9 in long / bottom cuff 3 in wide
Materials:
- 160 yds (146 m) worsted weight yarn
- US4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles (set of 4)
- US8 (5 mm) double pointed needles (set of 4)
- set of 10 buttons 7/16 in - 1/2 in in diameter (11.12 mm - 12.7 mm)
- stitch counter (optional)
