Pattern Description:

Floppy Eared Bunny hat pattern for babies and children.
The pattern is knit in the round using worsted weight yarn and 4mm or US6 size needles.
Contrasting inner ears and tassle ties make this a special and cute hat.
Pattern comes in four sizes: 0-6 months, 6- 12 months, 1-3 years and 3-7 years.
The hat has a lovely crochet border and earflaps with tassel ties.
You will need up to 100 g of worsted weight yarn in main as well as 50 g contrasting colour of your choice, some DPNs size 4mm or US6 , a crochet hook and darning needle.The pattern is knit in the round.

Pattern is intended for personal use.


21 st and 28 rows make 10cm or 4 inch square

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 0-6 months
  • 6-12 months
  • 1-3 years
  • 3-7 years


  • up to 100g light worsted weight wool 8 ply yarn
  • 50 g light worsted weight 8 ply yarn in contrast colour

You Will Also Need:

  • 4mm or US6 short circular knitting needle
  • set of DPN's size 4mm or US6
  • stitch holders
  • darning needle
  • crochet hook 4mm
