Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit stitches
  • Yarn over to increase
  • Decreases
  • Cast on and bind off

Pattern Description:

This knitted scarflette is warm and cozy without being bulky. One end fits through the loop in the other end so that it stays in place. Brioche stitch gives a neat ribbed appearance without the need for purl stitches and large needles mean it knits up quickly.


13 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in Brioche Stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Measures approximately 26 inches (66cm) in length and 8 inches (20cm) in width (unstretched)


  • 100g/160 yds Chunky / Bulky yarn
  • Knitting needles in size US 13 (9mm)
  • Tapestry needle

160 yards of Chunky weight
