Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, increase/decrease

Pattern Description:

A top-down sock in four sizes, with a robust knit/purl brickwork pattern leading down the leg and over the top of the foot. Motif is reversible for toe-up construction.
Substituting needles and/or yarn may result in an overall variation in size.

Gauge:

32 sts and 48 rows = 4" in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6(7.5, 9, 10.5) inches in circumference, to fit feet up to 7(8.5, 10, 11.5) inches around.

Materials:

  • 350(400, 450, 500) yds of any springy, high-twist sock yarn.
  • Needles:DPNs size US1 (2.25mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.

Suggested yarn:

500 yards of Fingering weight
