Pattern Description:

This scarf features a pretty openwork pattern which appears to contain fat blackberries nested in tangled branches. An easy two-sided lace, this makes a great learning project or a very quick gift knit.

Gauge:

20 sts and 32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch (unblocked; fabric will be relaxed)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 8.5" W x 40" L (blocked)

Materials:

  • approximately 200 yards of soft sport weight yarn (sample was knit from 200 yards of 4-ply silk/cashmere; substitute yarns may require more yardage)
  • US size 6 (4mm) needle or size to obtain correct gauge

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Sport weight
