Braided Finger Scarf

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, basic cable

Pattern Description:

My mother used to say zip up your coat, were you born in a barn?
As an adult I still do not zip or button my coat! It just seems to
confining for me. So this beautiful braided scarf comes in handy and
also is very pretty to look at.
If you can work a basic cable, knit, and purl, you can make this.
It is knit in one piece with no finish work.


4.5-5 stitches per inch in stocking stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • one size fits most


  • Fibranatura Sensational Superwash Merino Worsted Wool, 50g/90yds, 4 balls (360yds)
  • US Size 9 (5.5mm) circular or straight needles

You Will Also Need:

  • 8 small stitch holders for woven fingers
  • cable needle
  • tapestry needle
