Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knitting in the round, sewing on buttons

Pattern Description:

This pattern is an easy pattern for knitting in the round. This is a good pattern for beginners who want to learn how to knit in the round since you don't have to use DPN's a 16" circular needle is perfect. The anchor button embellishment is fun and whimsical.

Buttons are available for sale in my etsy shop if you want these buttons.


Cascade 220 1 skein worsted weight #8505
US size 8 [5 mm] circular needles
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle
Sewing needle
[4] 30mm buttons
Thread to attach buttons.

Any worsted weight yarn will work well with this pattern

This is a very quick project because of the size the yarn chose is machine washable.



Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 10" round, 8" tall
