Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knitting in the round, simple cables, basic increases and decreases, sk2p

Pattern Description:

Inspired by the graceful curves of ripe pears, the Bosc Set's lush texture is created with surprisingly easy stitches in quick-knit, worsted weight yarn.

Basic cable and lace patterns transition smoothly from a ribbed edging to the beautifully shaped crown of the hat. The hat is available in a choice of two sizes.

The scarf's complementary lace borders and clean edge treatment maintain sleek modern lines, and the simple bottom-up technique means no grafting or provisional cast-on are necessary!

These designs include both charted and written instructions.
