Pattern Description:

Suitable for new knitters! This cute little cap features a sweet stripe pattern, a sprout and a bobble on top. It's easily and quickly knit, and may just become your go-to shower gift! Sizing implies stretching for a snug fit; size up for a looser fitting cap.


18 stitches and 25 rows per 4 inches in stockinette

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished Circumference: 10.75(12.5, 14.25, 16, 17.75) inches
  • Size: Preemie(Newborn, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, Toddler/Child)


  • 40(48, 55, 60, 70, 75) yards MC and 20 yards CC worsted weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Size 7 (4.5 mm) 16" circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, stitch marker
  • Notions: Pipecleaner or wire twist
