  • Work from a graph.

Pattern Description:

This cute three colour Bib and Cloth set features a boat design. It will make a wonderful gift for any baby boy. The boats are knitted working from a graph.

Pattern rating: Easy.

My Bib and Cloth set has been worked in 8ply yarn but this pattern can easily be adapted to suit other yarns.

22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm [4 inches] over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Bib width: 16cm [61/4 inches].
  • Bib length (approx, excluding strap): 18cm [7 inches].
  • Cloth width: 22cm [83/4 inches].
  • Coth length (approx): 22cm [83/4 inches].


  • Yarn required: Creative Basics Esther 8ply, 100g balls@220m.
  • Approx 52g 1st Colour (C1).
  • Approx 5g 2nd Colour (C2).
  • Approx 6g 3rd Colour (C3).
  • Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm (UK 8, US 6) knitting needles.
  • Wool needle for sewing in ends.

You Will Also Need:

  • A button for bib.
