Married, mother of 3 boys. I have been crocheting, knitting and sewing for over 25 years. I love to be creative and design new patterns. I make most of my own clothing and have 3 sewing machines and a dedicated craft/sewing room. I also have an etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/KimberleesKorner

This is a fun scarf to knit that has lots of variety to create this interesting stitch. I would classify it as an intermediate project. It is a 6 row repeat and you will need to know how to make stitches, yarn over, slip stitches, pass a slip stitch over. The stitches and abbreviations are explained in detail in the pattern.
The scarf I made in the photos is knit with Noro Taiyo yarn - one of my favorites. The scarf has a very nice drape with this yarn. I have also made it in just acrylic yarn and it looks nice in that as well. Any type of worsted weight yarn will work with this project. I like to knit the same pattern in different types of yarn sometimes just to achieve a different look.
This scarf works up fairly quickly and it is recommended that you use a row counter to keep track of what row you are on.
You may sell your finished scarves made with my pattern but not the pattern as it is my own design.
