Pattern Description:

Vining lace patterns circle this neckwarmer and mitt set in two sizes (S, L) to knit with soft worsted-weight yarn. The neckwarmer features a buttoned closure and the mitts have a sculpted thumb gusset for a beautiful fit.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.


neckwarmer: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette
mitts: 18 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on larger needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • neckwarmer: 15.5(18) inches in circumference, buttoned (washed and blocked)
  • mitts: 5.5(6.5) inches in circumference to fits hands measuring up to 7(8) inches around


  • 150(180) yards of any soft, worsted weight yarn with 100 yards per 2 ounces.
  • neckwarmer: size 6US(4.0 mm) needle
  • mitts: DPNs size 5US(3.75 mm) and size 4US(3.5 mm) for edging

You Will Also Need:

  • (4) .5-inch buttons

180 yards of Worsted weight
