Pattern Description:

Designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn and knit out of Road to China Light in a modern combination of Peridot + Grey Pearl, this plaid hat is both quirky, fashionable and functional. The doubled brim provides structrue and warmth, while the pompon completes the look.

Gauge:

32 sts + 32 rounds = 4" in Fair Isle Pattern on 3.25 mm needles after blocking

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • To fit average woman's head. 8.5" height, 10" dia. + 16" brim circ. unstretched

Materials:

  • The Fibre Company Canopy Fingering, 50% Baby Alpaca, 30% Merino Wool + 20% Bamboo. 200yds/50gms per skein. Wild Ginger (MC), Sarsparilla (CC1) + Laguna (CC2), 1 skein each.

You Will Also Need:

  • 2 - Size 1 (2.25 mm) 16" circular needles
  • 1 - Size 3 (3.25 mm) 16" circular needle and dpns
