small skill level requirement Beginner

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, kfb, p2tog, k2tog, slip
  • knit in the round

Pattern Description:

Such sprightly colours will brighten the coolest blustery day. This cute slouchy beret is knit in an easy-care acrylic, self-patterning yarn.

The magic of the self-patterning yarn will give multiple pattern variations depending on where you start in the ball of yarn -- giving similar but not identical hats from the same colourway. A great way to make "sister" hats!

Knit in the round from the top down, this slouchy tam incorporates the same textured stitches as found in the Squares in Squares Blanket.

If necessary, change needle size to obtain gauge.
