Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit stitch
  • Crochet chain stitch and single crochet (otpional)

Pattern Description:

This scarf is extremely lightweight, soft, and comfortable to wear. Great for first time or experienced lace knitters, the scarf knits up fast on size 10 needles. It can be worn with or without the easy to crochet curlicue clasp. There is only one pattern row to knit. The stitch is the same on both sides, making it perfect for a scarf. If you don't crochet you may omit the curlicue clasp. The scarf is lovely as is so the clasp is optional. Even if you never knitted lace before you'll have success with this pattern. Although the yarn is fine weight, the needles are so large that the scarf is very quick to make.

The 3 page pattern is clearly written in a step by step manner without confusing abbreviations. There are lots of colored photos. In addition, you always have access to me should you have any questions. My email is printed on the pattern.

When my daughter was a new knitter she saw me making this scarf and said, "That's my birthday present isn't it?" In addition to the scarf, I gave her the instructions and in less than a week she made one for her best friend! You will not believe how easy it is to make this.
