Pattern Description:

This adorable hat can be made in one or two colors. The slip stitch that it's made in is very beautiful and warm.

The hat is made on circular needles (16" long) and does not have a seam.

Finished Measurements:

Hat Circumference:

* 3-6 months: to fit a baby with head circumference of 14"-17"
* 2-3 years: to fit a toddler with head circumference of 18"-20"
* adult: to fit a lady with head circumference of 21"-23"

Hat Height: 5.5"-5.75" (7.25"-7.5", 8"-8.25")


4.5 sts per 1" in stockinette stitch on US #7 (4.5mm) needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 3-6 months, 2-3 years and adult


  • 1 ball of Lion Brand Martha Stewart Extra Soft Blend yarn in White
  • 1 ball of Lion Brand Martha Stewart Extra Soft Wool Blend in Petal Pink
  • for size adult only: 1 ball of Lion Brand Martha Stewart Exra Soft Wool Blend yarn in Lilac
  • US #5 (3.75mm) or US #6 (4mm) circular needles for the ribbing only
  • US #7 (4.5mm) circular needles ( 16" long)
  • a marker
  • a tapestry needle
  • 1 or 2 pink Offray flowers or a large button for decoration
