Basic Skills Necessary:

  • do stranded knitting with at most two colors in one round

Pattern Description:

The ideal beanie for all dog and Beagle lovers with cute Beagles all around!

Note: for bigger heads use bigger needle size
Notes for bigger heads are also included.

Knitting gauge: 1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows in stranded knitting.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • This beanie fits size S and M. 54 to 56 cm head circumreference)
  • Note: For bigger heads use needle size 3.25 to 3.5 mm and/or 5-ply yarn


  • 20 g of off-white 4-ply sock yarn, 15 g of black 4-ply sock yarn, 20 g of middle blue 4-ply sock yarn, 20 g of light brown 4-ply sock yarn, 40 g of dark blue sock yarn.
  • You can also use Acrylic or Merino yarn of similar weight (4 to 5-ply)
  • Circular needle 40 cm 3.00 mm and 5 double pointed needles size 3.00 mm for the top of the head.

You Will Also Need:

  • tapestry needle to weave in the ends

Suggested yarn:

230 yards of Fingering weight
