Pattern Description:

A Trio of Beaded Necklaces using cashmere for that extra bit of style and grace! Each necklace requires approx 20 yards of fiber and works up quickly ... a perfect gift for that special someone!

The cashmere keeps the neck warm while adding style to evening attire or just dressing up a turtleneck.
Each necklace is slightly different ... two require placing the beads (or shank buttons) as you go while the third has you pre-string the beads. Check YouTube or a knit-beading book for these techniques.
Specifically:
Pretty in Pink -- 40 shank buttons (faceted in jewel tones) are placed
Emerald Beauty -- 34 glass beads (size 6) are pre-strung
Beaded Love -- 41 shank buttons (translucent hearts) are placed

Gauge:

16sts x 24rows = 4" stockinette

Materials:

  • approx 20 yards cashmere, cashmere blend yarn for each necklace
  • choice of closure (lobster claw, bar/ring, ribbon, etc)
  • 34-41 beads or shank buttons for each (see individual directions)
  • US #5 needles (circs are easiest with the amount of sts

Suggested yarn:

20 yards of Fingering weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Spring Gate Farm's Cashmere and Cashmere/Silk/Merino blend

Colorway:

dusty rose (100% cashmere), natural (100% cashmere), antique gold (cashmere blend)
