A set of two scarves using yarns iconic in Canadian knitting history: Briggs & Little Heritage and Patons Classic Wool.
Bayshore -- is a very quick-knit pattern, utilizing a moss stitch border and a wonderful diagonal knit - purl rib design. This pattern creates a scarf with 2 public sides which are different yet eminently pleasing. Easy as pie!!
Drumlin -- requires a little more focus in knitting; the carefully planned increases and decreases of this ribbed pattern create a sumptuously thick and totally reversible scarf with soft undulating edges. Stitch patterns are both written out and charted for this design.
Bayshore: 19 sts = 4" in pattern stitch
Drumlin: 20 sts = 4" in Stockinette
223 yards of Worsted weight
