I have been knitting for 59 years and since the grandchildren arrived have been knitting daily. I decided I wanted to create easy predominantly seamless knitting projects because I love knitting in the round, and more important I hate to sew pieces together!
I have had many wonderful comments from knitters who have created items from my patterns and like their finished projects, but should you come across a flaw or something that doesn't seem quite right in the instructions, I hope you will contact me! Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any of your questions or concerns.
You are free to sell your finished items, but please give me credit for the pattern.
Thank you and happy knitting!
Once you knit socks, especially the pretty patterned or striped ones (self-striping yarns), you may become addicted - even more so as you wear them because there are no seams to irritate your tender toes!!! The variety of yarns out there is endless. I'm partial to Paton's sock yarns, which wear well and wash easily.
These are knit from the toe up using a Turkish Cast-On. If you do not already know how to do this wonderful technique, do an Internet search. Video instructions are abundant...or use whatever toe-up technique you like best.
Measure the foot according to the instructions, knit swatch to get the correct measurement for the person's foot size - adjust needle size accordingly.
