Pattern Description:
The Bashful Hat is a lace slouchy hat. Made out of a wool and silk blend yarn making this a pleasant knit and a slouchy hat with a wonderful drape.
It is made in the round from brim to crown. No finishing other than weaving in ends.
Pattern instructions include chart and written instructions
Gauge:
15 sts = 2.5" in Lace pat before blocking slightly stretched. 15 sts = 3" in Lace pat after blocking. Take time to save time, check your gauge. 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4" in Rib pat relaxed
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Size: S (M, L) Finished Head Circumference: approx 16 (18, 20) circumference shown in 20"
Materials:
- Yarn: Universal Yarns "Eden Silk", 75% merino wool/25% silk; 153 yards [140 m]; 1.75 oz [50g] CYCA size 3 light: 1 (1, 2) balls 02 blush
- Needles: One pair size US 8 (5mm) 16" circulars; Set of 5 DPN's size 8 (5mm) or size to obtain gauge.
