PATTERN INFO

Sizing: finished hat to fit baby (toddler, child, adult small/medium, adult large)
Head circumference: 16 (18, 20, 22, 24) inches

note about samples - the hat can be knit as a snug beanie (like the baby and adult S samples) by knitting to length per the pattern. For a slouchier hat (like the child and adult L samples) simply knit an extra inch or so in length before decreasing!

Yarn: 70 (90, 110, 150, 170) yds aran/worsted weight yarn (sample shown in Madelinetosh Tosh Vintage in 'Winter Wheat', 'Thoreau', 'Badlands' and 'Twig')

Needles: US #8 / 5.0 mm (or as required to meet gauge)

Gauge: 18 sts and 22 rows/ 4" in stockinette stitch

Notions: stitch marker, darning needle
