Pattern Description:

Longer than the usual head-bugging beanie, this is the type of slouchy beanie seen on famous heads in supermarket tabloids. Make one in a neutral color or tweed for a guy, or fuzzy mohair, cashmere or alpaca for a gal.

Gauge:

5 sts = 1" (stockinette st); 9 sts = 1" (ribbing)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Adult Medium and Large

Materials:

  • No. 6 16" and 24" circular needles and dp needles, No. 4 16" circular needles
  • 2 or 3 50-g balls worsted weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle for darning in ends
  • Stitch markers
