After searching in vain for a pixie hat pattern that matched the vision in my head, I decided to create my own pattern. In addition to the super long I-cord ties, I have added another feature that serves to make this hat an amazing photography prop: it has been designed so that either the cast on edge (knit in seed stitch) or side stitches (making an approximately 1" wide garter stitch ribbed pattern) can be used as the "face" edge for this hat, allowing for variations in the style and look of the hat.
