Pattern Description:

This quick-knitting capelet defies all the rules. Seam angles increase at different rates and fall at asymmetric intervals. Eyelets appear random to the eye.

The result is a textured knit that is fun to work on, with a beautiful drape and unusual line.

Gauge:

20 stitches/ 24 rows = 4 inches/10cm in St st

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Neck Circumference: 14" (15")/ 35.5 (38)cm
  • Shoulder Seam: 6 (7) inches/ 15 (18)cm
  • Length: 14 (15) inches/ 35.5 (38)cm

Materials:

  • Approximately 440 (480) yards/ 400 (440)m of worsted weight yarn or amount to make desired length
  • U.S. #8/ 5.0mm circular needle (or size to obtain gauge) in 32"/ 80cm or preferred length
  • 1 button, approx 1.5"/ 4cm in diameter

You Will Also Need:

  • Stitch markers in two colors (A and B)
