Argylish: The Mitts

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit, Read Chart. Basic colorwork

Pattern Description:

Argyle, but not quite...almost argyle...argylish! Now you see it--now you don't! These wonderful-looking mitts have a secret pocket that is hidden to protect your valuables while you use your hands. Stranding adds extra wool for extra warmth. Top can be unfolded to cover fingers, or folded down to cover pocket and expose those texting fingers. Layer over gloves for extra warmth and a nifty look. So much fun to knit! I want to knit this in blues, and then again in grays, and then greens and then pastels. Again, it's all about color. What colors will you choose?

Gauge:

32 sts and 30 rnds = 4"

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • women and teen---Med

Suggested yarn:

250 yards of Fingering weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

KnitPicks Palette
