Pattern Description:

This design was inspired by the 1935 film "Captain Blood", starring Errol Flynn and Olivia De Havilland and named after the ship/heroine of the film, Arabella. The first and third panels of this scarf reminded me of billowing sails and ocean waves, while the second panel is more reminiscent of masts and rigging. Or you could just look at it as a beautiful lace scarf that can be worn in any season.
