Pattern Description:

This lush, cozy cowl features stitch patterns from Annie Maloney's ARAN LACE stitch dictionary. These unique stitch patterns combine cabling, decreases and yarnovers for airier cables.

Stitch patterns are both charted and written out line by line.

The cable repeats are #13 and #71 from ARAN LACE by Annie Maloney.


25 sts & 28.5 rounds = 4in / 10cm in main cable pattern

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Bottom circumference: 34in / 86.5cm Middle circumference: 25in / 63.5cm Top circumference: 30in / 76cm Height: 101/2in / 26.5cm


  • YARN Malabrigo Worsted, 100% Merino, 210 yds / 100g, 2 skeins, Applewood Sample weighs 145g, using approx 305 yds. NEEDLES US8 / 5mm needles or size to obtain gauge
