Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Knit
  • Purl
  • k2tog= knit two stitches together
  • yo= yarn over

Pattern Description:

This richly textured cowl with eyelets is seamless and worked in the round on circular needles.

The cowl's cobblestone design with all of its interesting twists and turns bring to mind the Appian Way of ancient Roman times.

It can be made with any Bulky weight yarn.

Gauge:

12 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Cowl measures approximately 22" around x 8" in height.

Materials:

  • 125 yards of Bulky weight yarn
  • Size 10, 16 inch circular needles
  • Stitch marker
