Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, increases and decreases, familiarity with lace knitting

Pattern Description:

I adore the look of lace shawls that other knitters create, but not very keen of knitting them myself simply because of the endless repetition of hundreds of rows.

However, I desperately needed one for my friends' Polish-Indian wedding. And I needed it fast :)

In order to escape the repeated rows I have decided to knit a stole from top to bottom with a subtle lace edging. Therefore, Angarika stole came to life...

The charted design of this stole is very easy to follow, and can be knitted up with nearly any lace weight yarn and appropriate
needle size .
