Anadara is a semi-circular shawl worked in garter rib...no long purl rows! Most of the pattern is easily memorized and fairly quick to work. The edging features a scalloped lace that develops out of the ribs of the main shawl body.
Anadara is a great way to use a handpainted yarn with a coordinating sem-solid. The shawl uses approximately 1 skein (400 yds) of the MC and 250 yds of CC, although the amount of MC used can be increased if desired.
18 stitches to 4 inches, although exact gauge isn't crucial, as long as you like the fabric.
