Pattern Description:

A comfy, cosy hat with a stunning, yet easy to knit stitch pattern.

There are three options for the brim: the turned over ribbed one, the ribbed one that's not turned over, and the one that starts straight away with the Almond Pattern, and has a slightly wavy edge.

Gauge:

25 sts, 24 rows = 10x10cm / 4x4" in k1tbl, p1 ribbing
27 sts, 24 rows = 10x10cm / 4x4" in Almond Pattern (main stitch pattern)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Women's S, M, L - For finished hat circumference 40.5, 44.5, 49.5cm / 16, 17 1/2, 19 1/2" - To fit heads with circumference of around 48.5, 53.5, 58.5cm / 19, 21, 23"

Materials:

  • Worsted or aran weight yarn, such Alpaca Lana D'Oro by Cascade Yarns: 100g (200m / 220 yards)
  • 4.5mm / US 7 double pointed needles or size to obtain tension

Suggested yarn:

200 meters of Worsted weight
