Pattern Description:

Alize Mitts are truly girly with a bit of that French flair to them.

These mitts are completely seamless. You will be working them from the cuff up, slipping stitches and cabling along the way.

This design is a great way to start colorwork and to practice some basic cables.

The pattern has a link to a youtube video of the techniques used - helpful for beginners.

23-24sts and 30-32 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4x4 inches on 3.5 mm/US #4 needles in reverse stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Child-Adult


  • 75-110 yds Main color yarn
  • 35-70 yds Contrast color yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • 3 mm/US #2.5 DPNs
  • 3.5 mm/US #4 DPNs or circular needles (30 cm/12")
  • 5 stitch markers (1 A, 2 B, 2 C colors)
  • Cable needle
