The Adiri Mittens pattern is a two-for-one: an over-mitten with the Adiri stitch pattern, and a plain under-mitten in a contrasting color. I have to thank Kristi of Shalimar Yarns for goading me into the under-mittens. These make for an incredibly warm combination, and can stand on their own as a quick, fun introduction to mittens generally. The over-mitten is worked in my beloved Shalimar Haven yarn, and the under-mitten is worked in everyone's beloved Shalimar Breathless DK.
Both mittens are worked in the round from the bottom up. They are not attached and can be made separately. The Outer Mitten features a lace panel on the top portion of the hand. The Inner Mitten is worked in Stockinette stitch.
The pattern is suitable for advanced beginner lace knitters. Please see specific required skills. Instructions are both written and charted. The pattern has been professionally tech edited to reduce the possibility for error, but if you have questions or believe that you have found an error, please contact me.
