Pattern Description:

This lovely cowl is an exploration of Aran Lace -- the technique of integrating lace techniques into cables.

The small cowl, shown in Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted in Campbell, a bright cheery green, has you cast on & jump right in to the main body of the cowl.

The large cowl, shown in Dream in Color Everlasting in Jeans, a lovely mix of greys, blues and faded brown, begins and ends with a lacy cabled border. Knit the bottom border first, graft the edges, then pick up the stitches for the main body of the cowl. Work the top border by working the live stitches of the cowl main body with the edge stitch of the border.

The main cowl chart has been broken into 2 sections, Part 1 and Part 2. Work Part 1 first, then Part 2. Repeat twice around for the small cowl, and three times around for the larger cowl.
