Hello! My name is Jackie Murton. I am happily married to a wonderful man who happily feeds my yarn addiction. We have 3 great kids. I am currently learning to spin on both a spindle and an antique wheel a friend spotted for me at a craft show.
I began knitting and crocheting while on bed rest with my first child. I decided to start writing patterns when I found myself constantly changing written patterns so that I could knit them seamlessly (I don't like sewing seams :-D).
I design and write knitting patterns with a focus on 1 skein seamless and nearly seamless knits. Most of my patterns are beginner level. I will occasionally design more advanced patterns as well as some crochet patterns.
This is a great hat that you can wear all year round. The softness and season-spanning hues make this hat a must have!
The yarn used in this project in currently discontinued. I suggest substituting with Unplanned Peacock Superwash Merino Worsted Weight in "Botanical". Unplanned Peacock Superwash is machine washable and hand dyed.
The pattern is worked in the round on a 16" circular needle with a change made to double pointed needles during decreasing.
6 stitches and 8 rows = 1 inch in Knit 2, Purl 2 rib un-stretched
