Who doesn't like spending a day at the beach? Lying back on the warm sand, while the waves lap gently on the shore . . .
This bag won't just let you carry everything you need for a day of leisure, it lets you carry the beach with you wherever you go!
A Day at the Beach starts with a garter stitch square for a base, then stitches are picked up around the edges, and the rest of the bag is worked in the round.
The lace pattern for the waves is both written and charted.
This pattern takes less than a full skein each of two colors of Knit Picks CotLin. In fact, if you want to make it in a single color, you can probably do it with one skein, but have a second one on hand just in case.
(Not critical, but finished size is based on this gauge) 24sts x 30 rows=4"/10cm in Wave Lace, unblocked. 22sts x 28 rows=4"/10cm in stockinette stitch.
