Basic Skills Necessary:

Pattern Description:

This casual yet elegant cowl features a repeating checkerboard pattern... but with eyelets hidden in every other square.

The cowl is knit in the round on circular needles to eliminate seaming at the end. The design is reversible and looks equally good on both sides.

Gauge:

20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in
Stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished cowl measures approximately 27" x 8"

Materials:

  • About 200 to 215 yards of Worsted weight yarn
  • Size 8, 16 inch circular knitting needles
  • Stitch marker
