Pattern Description:

This casual yet elegant cowl features a repeating checkerboard pattern... but with an interesting twist. Surprise! There are eyelets hidden in every other square. The cowl is knit in the round on circular needles to eliminate seaming at the end. The design is reversible and looks equally good on both sides.

Gauge:

20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in
Stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The measurement of the finished cowl is approximately 27" x 8"

Materials:

  • 200 yards of Worsted yarn
  • Size 8, 16 inch circular needles
  • stitch marker
