Pattern Description:

This knitting book contains 5 patterns for baby sandals in 3ply and 4ply yarn.

The included patterns are:

Jacinta - Sandals with buttoned ankle strap and three foot straps
Tatiana - Sandals with an i-cord or ribbon ankle tie
Christina - Sandals with buttoned ankle strap and optional T-bar
Cecilia - Sandals with buttoned ankle strap and linked toe straps
Miranda - Sandals with buttoned ankle and foot straps

Each pattern includes instructions for both a 3ply and 4ply version.

Gauge:

3ply - 31 sts and 60 rows to 10cm over garter st, using 3.00mm needles.
4ply - 27 sts and 54 rows to 10cm over garter st, using 3.25mm needles.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Pattern sizes: 0 (3-6-9) months.
  • To fit foot: 7 (8-9-10) cm [23/4 (31/4-31/2-4) inches].

Materials:

  • Yarn required: Approx 9-22g of Patons Big Baby 3ply or 4ply yarn.
  • 3ply styles - A pair of 3.00mm (UK 11, US 3) knitting needles. 2 double-pointed 3.00mm (UK 11, US 3) knitting needles for Jacinta, Tatiana and Cecilia
  • 4ply styles - A pair of 3.25mm (UK 10, US 3/4) knitting needles. 2 double-pointed 3.25mm (UK 10, US 3/4) knitting needles for Jacinta, Tatiana and Cecilia
  • Wool needle for sewing up.

You Will Also Need:

  • 2 buttons for Jacinta, Christina and Cecilia.
  • 4 buttons for Miranda.
  • Narrow ribbon for Tatiana.
