Skill Level:

medium skill level requirement Intermediate

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Stockinette Stitch
  • knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

This set is knit in the round, so the stockinette stitch uses only the knit (k) stitch. The headwarmer can be used as a neckwarmer when the hat is worn, or the headwarmer can be used as a decorative brim over the hat (also providing extra warmth for the ears). The yarn is so soft! This is a great set for the winter runner!

Directions are also given in the pattern for a Turkish Cast-On and a Kitchener Stitch for binding off. If you have never tried them before, they are wonderful techniques to know (there are many videos on the Internet to provide visual instructions if you do a search).
