These fun cabled mitts look great and are a very quick project. It is easy to make a pair in and evening or 2! There are 6 cables, and they alternate between a left twist and a right twist.
Both the left and right mitt are worked exactly the same way, so they are interchangeable!
You can use Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Bulky, Cascade 128, Berroco Vintage Chunky or similar Chunky yarns.
20.5 sts=4 inches in cable pattern.
130 yards of Chunky weight

Knitting has become my main focus. I love to create new designs, and to figure out new ways of doing things. I really want my designs to be easy to wear, AND well fitting and flattering. There is no need to take all the time to make something if it is not going to be worn!
Although I love to create a well fitting, good looking cardigan or pullover, I also really like to crank out accessories. There is nothing like the feeling of getting a project, or a new pattern done!
I self publish. Those are the designs that you see here on Craftsy. I also design for yarn companies and knitting publications on a regular basis.
