Basic Skills Necessary:

  • basic knitting and basic stranded colourwork

Pattern Description:

Inspired by 1950' ski hats.
This hat will go well with jeans and T-shirt.
Easy knit in the round. Use up some leftover yarn for the colourwork, it does not take much.


20 stitches and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • will fit average woman's head


  • Needles US size 8 (5mm)

Suggested yarn:

250 yards of Worsted weight

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Cascade 220 or cascade 220 superwash
