Pattern Description:

A pretty, warm mitt in two sizes (S, L) featuring a lace pattern that spirals the wrist and extends up the back of the hand. Finished with a knitted-on hem border of turning leaves, this piece knits up quickly and makes a beautiful impression as a gift.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.


32 sts and 48 rows = 4" in stockinette (unblocked)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 5.5(6.5) inches in circumference to fit hands measuring up to 7(8) inches around palm Length from hem edge to top border = 7.5(8.5) inches


  • 150 (200) yards of any soft fingering yarn with approximately 400-450 yards per 100 grams
  • needle size: DPNs size 1US (2.25 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Fingering weight
