A pretty rectangle in three sizes (scarf/petite/tall), worked in a vertical composition of delicate pea vines dotted with nupps (add or substitute beads if desired). Piece is worked from hem to center back in two pieces, then grafted afterward. Despite its intricate appearance, this piece travels well and knits up quickly to make a special accessory for the gardener in each of us.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.
24 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (unblocked; fabric will be relaxed)
1300 yards of Fingering weight
|Women, Petite, Tall|

I am the owner of Knitspot - knitting patterns, clubs, and artisan yarns. I am a life-long knitter with a background in the fashion and graphic design fields, and began designing clothing, knitwear and accessories during the 1970s. I teach and write about knitting, spinning, and designing at my blog, Knitspot. I live and work in Ohio with David, who loves wool, too.
My design work/profile has been included in Knitty, The Knitter, Interweave Knits, and Twist Collective, Sock Club, Brave New Knits, as well as several upcoming publications. The complete catalog of Knitspot patterns is available for browsing and purchasing at http://www.knitspot.com/knitting_pattern/index.php
Knitspot yarn clubs are reknowned for perfect pairings of luxury yarn and design, as well as the rollicking good fun in our Ravelry clubhouse where members meet, chat, and knit through club projects together.
Our Bare Naked yarns are as close to the farm as a knitter can get, using fresh fiber produce from regional growers which is then spun into yarn at smaller artisan mills with which I have worked over the years. The collection is focused on single-breed pure wool yarns and exotic blends, with colors that range an entire array of natural tonesyarn the way nature made it.
