Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, increase/decrease

Pattern Description:

A stole consisting of a single, rippling stitch motif, perfect for a light covering indoors or out. Makes a good knitting project for a beginning or intermediate lace knitter, and a quick knit for a more experienced knitter.


6 sts per inch unblocked

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Stole: approx 19" x 72", blocked (or desired length) Scarf: approx 11" x 56" blocked (or desired length)


  • Stole: approx 700 yards Scarf: approx 350 yards
  • Needles:size US7 (4.5mm) straight or circular, or size required to obtain gauge

Suggested yarn:

700 yards of Fingering weight
