Pattern Description:

A fine, featherweight scarf pattern in a luxurious silky yarn, suitable for any climate. An arabesque motif with the appearance of repeating "Hamsa" talismans graces the length of this piece. Simple decreases and all-purl "rest" rows result in a fabric that looks far more intricate than it is to work.

Gauge:

28 sts and 44 rows = 4" in stockinette (unblocked)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 10.5"W x 45"L (blocked and stretched)

Materials:

  • approximately 300 yards of any fine, silky laceweight yarn with approximately 325 yards per ounce.
  • Needles:size US3 (3.25 mm)or size to obtain gauge
