Pattern Description:

This is a vintage style pixie hat that frames a baby or toddler face beautifully - perfect for the photo album!
You can knit it with either a chin strap and button fastening, or with ties and it will suit both a boy or a girl.
I have included instructions for both knitting in the round, and knitting flat on two needles.
The pattern is a 7 page pdf file with plenty of photos to guide you through all the stages.

Gauge:

22sts and 30 rows over 10x10cm (4x4") square in stocking (stockinette) stitch on 4mm (US Size 6) needles

70-120 yds(25-50grams) double knit yarn, depending on size
