Pattern Description:

I wanted a simple, yet elegant ring design combining silver and gold.

This design is so simple that even a beginning wire wrapper could create a stunning piece of jewelry!

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • As written, this tutorial makes about a size 6 ring but adjustments for size are very easy
  • The ring shown in the tutorial is a combination of both sterling silver and 14kt gold-filled wire, but I've also done this ring in silver/copper and in solid silver or gold-filled.

Materials:

  • 18 inches 22g sterling silver square wire (dead soft)
  • 9 inches 22g gold-filled square wire (dead soft)
  • 4 inches 21g sterling silver half-round wire (half-hard)
  • 2 inches 18g copper half-round wire or heavy guage plastic coated wire
  • flat nose pliers
  • flush cutters
  • ruler
  • fine tip black marker
  • file
  • masking or painters tape
  • ring mandrel
