Pattern Description:
I wanted a simple, yet elegant ring design combining silver and gold.
This design is so simple that even a beginning wire wrapper could create a stunning piece of jewelry!
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- As written, this tutorial makes about a size 6 ring but adjustments for size are very easy
- The ring shown in the tutorial is a combination of both sterling silver and 14kt gold-filled wire, but I've also done this ring in silver/copper and in solid silver or gold-filled.
Materials:
- 18 inches 22g sterling silver square wire (dead soft)
- 9 inches 22g gold-filled square wire (dead soft)
- 4 inches 21g sterling silver half-round wire (half-hard)
- 2 inches 18g copper half-round wire or heavy guage plastic coated wire
- flat nose pliers
- flush cutters
- ruler
- fine tip black marker
- file
- masking or painters tape
- ring mandrel
