You know that special focal bead you've been stashing forever, just waiting for the right design to use it? (I know, I have several of them!).

This tutorial shows how to enhance a beautiful focal bead with a wire wrapped bail that is more than just a wrapped loop. Try this very pretty woven bail, which uses the popular ladder stitch.

  • 20-gauge round soft wire
  • measuring 15 inches long
  • One focal bead with wide hole measuring 1 to 1.5 inches high
  • 3.5 feet 28ga soft round wire
  • 6 2mm or 3mm silver beads

You Will Also Need:

  • Flush wire cutter
  • Ruler
  • Round Nose pliers
  • Pencil
  • Sharpie pen (permanent marker)
  • Sewing pin
  • Flat nose pliers
